The body of a 50-year-old man was found stuffed in a refrigerator at his home in the Seelampur area, northeast of Delhi on Friday, police said.
According to police, a caller informed them at around 7:15 p.m. Friday that her relative was not participating in the phone calls.
When she arrives at Gautampuri, she finds him dead in the refrigerator. Police arrived and found the body stuffed in a refrigerator, a senior police officer said.
The man was identified as Zakir, they said.
Preliminary investigation revealed that he was living alone in the home, while his wife and children were living separately at a distance, police said.
Legal action is being taken. Police indicate that they are developing clues about a suspect in the murder. They added.
