Mahmoud Charr: Tyson Fury ‘promised’ a fight | ‘Call me and sign the contract’ | Boxing News

Mahmoud Charr has urged Tyson Fury to forget about fighting Anthony Joshua in December, and fight him instead.

A super showdown between two British heavyweights is currently being negotiated.

“We had to move fast because it made me worried that Mahmoud Charr would come out, saying he would fight Tyson Fury on December 3, but again, all I’m being told saying at the moment they want to fight if they do, we’re ready to try and make it happen,” Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn said on Thursday.

On Friday morning, Fury took to social media, accusing Joshua’s camp of taking too long to sign the dotted line.

“He’s had a contract I don’t know for how long and won’t sign it,” the ‘King of Gypsy’ claimed. “You don’t want to fight.

“However, I will fight on December 3, if this hot dog doesn’t sign this contract I don’t think he [is going to]! “

Barry Jones feels it wouldn’t be good for the sport of boxing if Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua never fought in their careers.

Charr: Fury promised to fight me!

Experienced heavyweight Charr insists Fury should not fight Joshua, following AJ’s consecutive defeats at the hands of Oleksandr Usyk.

“First of all, if Fury fights AJ next, it’s not good for boxing. AJ has a mental breakdown and he needs to recover from two losses,” Charr said. Sports sky.

“If Eddie Hearn accepts this fight with Fury, Eddie [will] have to change their business. I think Fury’s gonna take AJ badly, [given] his mental position now.

“Everybody knows Fury has promised many times to fight me. If he’s the real Spartan, he’s got to fight the real Superman. That’s me.

“I’m coming from win five [streak] and God gave me another chance to live. Everyone knows I was shot in the stomach and had two hip surgeries. Never forget, seven months later, I became the world’s first Arab heavyweight champion.

“This story is the same as Fury, to not give up and fight for the legacy. I want the next Fury. Fear not, Spartan, take my challenge!”

Fury and Joshua’s team are still in ‘active negotiations’ but a deal must be finalized soon for the blockbuster heavyweight battle

‘Call me and sign the paper!’

Although Fury’s team has yet to reach the Beirut-born German Charr, ‘Diamond Boy’ has urged the undefeated British boxer to contact him.

“They don’t need to contact me. I’m available today, tomorrow, whenever they want,” he said.

“But this business is between me and Fury, not our team. Fury, you have my number. Call me and sign the papers!”
