Prices for the flagship diesel XUV700 AX7 AT L AWD have increased by Rs 53,000.
Recent follow up increase in price of Scorpio WOMEN, Mahindra raised the price of XUV700 SUVs. This is the SUV’s fourth price hike, previously Mahindra has raised the price in September 2022.
While the base MX variants did not increase in price, the other variants did. The base petrol AX3 variant of the XUV700 now starts at Rs 15.89, with the SUV’s top-end diesel AX7 L now priced at Rs 25.48.

Mahindra XUV700 petrol is now up to Rs 50,000 more expensive
The price of XUV700 petrol has increased to Rs 50,000. Among them, the AX3 MT variant has the lowest price increase of Rs 39,000, while the most advanced version AX7 AT L has the highest price increase of Rs 50,000.
The price of the XUV700 diesel engine has increased to Rs 64,000. Here, the AX7 MT L variant has the lowest price increase of Rs 32,000, while the AX7 AT has a price increase of Rs 64,000. The price of the AX7 AT AWD, which sits at the top of the XUV700 series, has increased by Rs 53,000.
Mahindra XUV700: powertrain details
Engine options on the XUV700 include a 2.0-litre petrol and a 2.2-litre diesel. The petrol engine makes 200hp, while the diesel comes in two states of tune – 155hp for the base variants and 185hp for the higher variants. Both engines are mated to a standard 6-speed manual transmission or an optional 6-speed automatic transmission. Mahindra offers the AWD system only in the top diesel-automatic variant.
Mahindra XUV700: current standby time
The XUV700 has had to wait a long time since its launch in 2021. The wait time for base petrol and diesel variants is around 2-3 months, while mid-spec variants average waiting time up to 5 months. The higher spec AX7 and AX7L have a standby time of more than a year.
