MAFS 2023: A wild bride ‘put it in the trash can in the nightclub bathroom’ years ago

The new season of Married at First Sight is going well.

And now Daily Mail Australia can reveal the show’s upcoming tenth season will feature some of the most controversial participants to date.

The cast includes some outspoken brides and grooms, some with scandalous pasts.

A Married At First Sight bride-to-be went to the trash can in a nightclub bathroom years ago, and another bride is said to be so evil, she makes Olivia Frazer look like an angel. (Pictured: one of the 2023 brides looked tense while filming her wedding last week)

A bride is no stranger to controversy, having caused a stir about cleaning up a nightclub bathroom nearly a decade ago.

‘She completely trashed a bathroom at a bar and has been banned from the site ever since. I guarantee she’ll cause a ruckus on the show,’ a source said.

Another bride was dubbed ‘Olivia Frazer 2.0’ after entering the experiment with a sweet and innocent look only to reveal her bad side later.

‘The bell has sounded. She’s not as naive as she made the producers believe… we’re thinking she’ll definitely be the next Olivia,” the insider said.

Meanwhile, an outspoken groom is understood to have undergone media training prior to filming, which shows he sees the show as his ticket to fame and fortune.

Season nine of MAFS was a hit in ratings for Channel Nine this year, with the show also airing in the UK and US.

The new season will see the return of Puerto Rican sexologist Alessandra Rampolla, as well as veteran relationship experts John Aiken and Mel Schilling.

Adrian Swift, Nine’s Director of Production and Content Development, spoke about the upcoming season and teased that Rampolla will have a much bigger role.

“We’re going to get Alessandra to get a little more involved in the sexual part of it,” he said.

New season of Married at First Sight will return to Channel Nine in early 2023
