Luxe Listings Sydney star Gavin Rubinstein has revealed how much commissions brokers typically earn from selling their properties.
The 32-year-old real estate agent said some people can get 100% of the charge home, but clarified that most keep between 50 and 60%.
Gavin says the key to a successful property sale is understanding that no property is too big or too small.

‘It all adds up at the end of the day. 10 deals worth a million dollars will add up to 10 million dollars in sales,’ he revealed on The Kyle and Jackie O Show.
The reality TV star said more expensive properties take longer to deposit than cheaper properties, so it may be worthwhile to focus on selling lower priced homes.
He added that real estate agents working in lower-value real estate areas can still make big money if they make a lot of deals.
Realtors on Luxe Listings are known for selling lavish Sydney homes, but Gavin said estate agents should also focus on lower priced properties.
Earlier this week, Gavin revealed his biggest piece of advice for real estate investing and an area he always recommends buying because its prices ‘never drop’.
He told The Daily Telegraph he bought all of his investment properties in Sydney’s eastern suburbs and would never buy out of state.
He also reveals his three key pieces of advice for investors who want to be the first.

The advice is: Always buy homes near the beach, buy only those with full ownership of the building, and delay the sale.
