“He has an aura,” she added. “He’s the leader, and we’re all good with it.”

During the interview, Lupita also revealed that she agrees with Marvel’s decision not to recycle T’Challa. “It wasn’t Black Panther’s death, that was the whole point,” she told the outlet. “It is lying down to rest [T’Challa] and let real life inform the stories of the movies. I know that there are all kinds of reasons people want him to be recap, but I just don’t have the patience. I have no presence of mind, or I have no objectivity to argue with that. I do not. I am very biased.”
