And it looks like it was a hit, as the Love Island winner took to Instagram to share that he’s got plenty of birthday presents for his girlfriend and co-star Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu.
Stepping out with a friend, the 27-year-old business owner wore a pair of tight blue jeans for the outing.

Davide appeared in high spirits as he strolled around his home city in the UK, with his best friend wearing a black sweater and gray jeans.
On Instagram, he shared a video to his 1.9 million followers to show off his preparations for Ekin-Su’s birthday on August 21.

And doing a dance as he stepped away from the camera, he turned around and shared: ‘Just sorting out presents for Ekin-Su’.
The actress couldn’t hide her excitement at seeing what she had in store, sharing the video to her own Story and writing: ‘Oh, I can’t wait! Ps love the dance’.

The couple won Love Island earlier in the month with 63.7% of the public vote.
And it looks like they’re going from strength to strength, with the pair set to star in their own ITV2 show.
Appearing on Big Breakfast last week, Davide admitted: ‘I could say this. We will be doing a trip to Italy and Turkey so one week in Italy, one week in Turkey.
‘We’ll be on ITV2 so it’ll be like our own show.’
Ekin-Su added: ‘It will all be true, come on, I will cook for him, he will cook for me. That would be two cultures. ‘
Davide concluded: ‘We’re going to meet the family, it’s going to be great,’ before host AJ Odudu told them: ‘You guys are going on the trip and we’re going with you! ‘
