‘Really sad because after her comments on my live, people started sending me death threats so it’s just a vicious cycle where you can’t control crazy people who want to hate. . I understand she’s upset and I hate it but all my tweets are just comedy. ‘

One user later responded to Amber’s tweet and wrote: ‘Let’s hope your family never gets sick while you’re on the show like you gave Luca and his family.’

However, Amber remained defiant and said her tweets were ‘exaggerated’ and shouldn’t be taken too seriously.

“They shouldn’t be looking at my tweets because it’s exaggeration, it’s my sense of humour. I don’t really dislike any of the people on the show and it was never that deep.”

In her original tweet, Amber wrote: ‘Tasha thinks Luca is her best mate???????? Luca is the arch enemy of Dami #loveisland. ‘

She also retweeted a fan tweet that read: ‘Luca and Dami have made this season Bully Island and have drawn all the fun out of it. Just uncomfortable to watch. ‘

During his search for the star, a page popped up that read: ‘This account does not exist’, even though he had previously used the platform.

It’s unclear if his family was the one who deleted the account.

ITV has been contacted by MailOnline for comment.

Amber also criticized the boys on Movie Night as they lined up the club and cheered for their Casa Amor antics.

And his family have said that although he will be ‘ashamed’ for his actions and will certainly apologize, he does not deserve the abuse he has received.
