These artists were invited to design a futuristic sci-fi fashion runway featuring avatars created in The Sandbox’s VoxEdit. Each avatar is made into a limited edition NFT and put on the Lootex website for sale. The exclusivity of each avatar will only enhance the collector’s experience in the ever-evolving metaverse, Lootex said in a media release.
Lootex, a GameFi marketplace for purchasing NFT and in-game content, has partnered with OneOffs to co-host Fashion in The Metaverse, the first NFT metaverse fashion show in Taiwan, Asia. Fashion in The Metaverse brings together artists from The Sandbox Foundation: An An, TongYangChicken, Nest, Beryll Chen, Carina Chen and game designer Nora C.
The latest collaboration expands on an existing partnership between Lootex and the virtual gaming world The Sandbox, which began in 2018. It is part of a broader partnership between Lootex and The Sandbox, also added The Sandbox co-founder Sebastien Borget as an advisor and investor on Lootex.
In addition to Sandbox, Lootex’s cross-chain, player-centric NFT trading platform is constantly updated to reflect the latest developments in blockchain games.
