Logitech’s G502 X modernizes its best-selling gaming mouse


Logitech has refreshed its iconic gaming mouse, G502, with lighter materials and new features while largely keeping its design. The new product line is called G502 X and it has a wired version, a base wireless form and another wired option with RGB lighting. Logitech used a slimmer outer frame and lighter scroll wheel to reduce wired mouse weight up to 89 grams. It also uses an updated version of its proprietary Lightspeed wireless protocol to ensure that its wireless versions are 68% faster in response than the previous generation.

All three versions use Lightforce hybrid optical-mechanical switching technology, which (as Logitech explains) combines the sharp tactile clicks of mechanical switches with the ultra-low speed/latency performance of mechanical switches. optical switch.
