Starting with the release of her critically acclaimed album”Especially” Lizzo is adding another magazine cover to her resume. Because Elle UKSeptember 2022 issue, the 34-year-old artist on the cover wears a warning band with Balenciaga twisted. Wrapped head-to-toe in a bodysuit with the French fashion house’s trademark yellow tape, Lizzo standing tall with the wind blowing through her locks, looking more prepared for the runway than for the construction site.
While she did a full-fledged fashion model for her Elle cover, Lizzo posted a related video on Instagram, mocking the limited launch process, as she tried (and failed) to do her TikTok dance with “Damn time. “In the caption, she wrote, ‘I AM A VERY DANGEROUS HUMAN… JUST STREAM ‘ON DAMN TIME’ AND DON’T ASK ANY QUESTIONS 😫. ”
This is not the first time the world has seen this Balenciaga. In fact, it’s the same group of warning tapes Kim Kardashian dressed for the Balenciaga fashion show during Paris Fashion Week in March. A video of Kardashian struggles to even walk in striking looks went viral shortly after her appearance. Kardashian was hand-glued to the branded material, and she reports that she made sure she had the look cut off so it remained intact. Although not yet on the brand’s website, Demna, Balenciaga’s Creative directorshared that the fashion house will sell tapes to customers do myself their own branded interface.
Just last week, Lizzo wore a completely different type of catsuit, styled in the simplest form of her Yitty brand denim spandex. while buying her new album at Target. While that particular piece of clothing seemed easier for her to move into, her striking Balenciaga ensemble created an unforgettable cover look.
