What is AI? Here’s a Glimpse of Apple’s iOS 18.2 Intelligence Features
According to a report by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the iOS 18.2 update is expected to launch in December with AI image creation tools. It is highlighted that Apple has delayed some AI features and they are now expected to launch in the December update. With the iOS 18.2 update, two AI features are said to have been highlighted, namely the Image Playground app and Genmoji.
According to Apple, the Image Playground app can be integrated with some iOS apps like Messages or Notes, where users can create custom images or emojis in cartoon or illustration format. Users can also enter prompts to create effective images. On the other hand, iOS 18.2 is also expected to include Genmoji, which allows users to create creative emojis through the iPhone keyboard.
While we’re all waiting for an improved version of Siri, the upcoming December update won’t include a smarter version of Siri. It’s not expected to arrive until 2025, so iPhone 16 users may have to wait a little longer to experience all the announced AI features.
