Tire’s funeral will be held at Mississippi Avenue Christian Church on Wednesday, February 1 at 10:30 a.m. CST, according to the local CBS affiliate. REWRITE. The church held its first worship service after a video of the Tire police encounter on Sunday, January 29. Pastor Dr. J. Lawrence Turner organized a service, titled “Tire Worth Answers,” where he paid tribute to him and called for police reform, through News Action 5. “We want his family to know that he will not be forgotten and the fight is not over yet,” he said during the ceremony. “We also want to start what will become a movement to finally bring police reform to our country.”

A live stream of Tire’s funeral will likely be offered closer to the service. Mississippi Avenue Christian Church has a Youtube channel, where services are occasionally shared, so funerals can be streamed there. The funeral will also likely be broadcast on many major news networks.
Who will be at the funeral?
While many other state officials will likely attend the funeral, it was reported that civil rights activist Rev. Al Sharpton will send eulogy, as he also did at by George Floyd funeral. Tyre’s parents’ lawyer Ben Crump will also speak at the service.
Many of Tire’s relatives will no doubt be present at the funeral as well. His mother and stepfather honor him in an appearance on View mode on Monday, January 30. RowVaughn talked about how caring her son is in the interview. “Tyre is a beautiful soul. Tire, you love your son. He loves his family. He loves his mother. He is just a beauty. Everyone he meets, he is touched in a positive way,” she said.
