Lisa’s grave is located next to the fountain in Graceland’s backyard and almost directly across from her father’s burial place. Several other members of the Presley family are buried in Graceland, including Elvis’ father, Vernonmother, Gladysand his grandmother, Minnie Mae. Elvis’ grave can be seen below. There is also a memorial stone for Elvis’ twin brother, who died at birth in 1935, in the family cemetery.

As fans know, Lisa suddenly passed away at the age of 54 on Thursday, January 12th cardiac arrest. Lisa is well aware that her childhood home will be her final resting place and she even sings about her fate in a 2003 song called “Light’s Out”. She sings, “Someone turned off the lights in Memphis, which is where my family was buried and died. … Last time I was there, I noticed a gap next to them in Memphis in the damn back lawn.”
She also talked about it when discussing her song in a 2003 interview with dissipated. “Basically, Graceland’s back lawn is a graveyard. How many people have a family grave in the backyard? she asked the question. “How many people are reminded of their fate, their death, every [expletive] day? All the graves were lined up and there was a place there, waiting for me, right next to my grandmother.”
Lisa left behind three children alive as she passed: twin girls Harper and Finleywhom she shares with her ex-husband Michael Lockwoodand daughter Riley, whom she shares with Danny.
