Lindsay Arnold joined HollywoodLife Podcast and opened up about her recent viral TikTok video in which her daughter Sage, 18, comforts her as she cries after a negative pregnancy test result. Before announcing his departure upcoming season of Dancing with the stars, the former professional took to social media to tell her followers the truth about her struggles during pregnancy with baby number 2. “It was tough, but there was solace in knowing that we did. not alone. Up until about a couple of years ago, no one discussed it, and it made you feel embarrassed and like something was wrong with you – and it wasn’t. Everyone goes through it in our own different ways,” Lindsay explained above Hollywood Life Podcast. “I was definitely scared to post it. Like, shouldn’t I talk about these personal things? But I’m glad I did.”
In the viral video, Lindsay and her daughter Sage was seen celebrating after the specialist received a positive result on a pregnancy test. However, the text on the video reads: “When you get a positive pregnancy test and then get started [period] A few days later, your beloved daughter is always with you every step of the way…” In the next clip, the 18-month-old girl wipes her tears and hugs her mother on the floor of the closet. “I think she’s too young to understand, but it’s crazy that she understands all of our feelings. She knows when I’m sad, she knows when I’m happy and she reacts to that and adapts to that,” Lindsay explained, adding that that moment “is probably one of those moments.” The best moment of being a mother for [her]hitherto.”

“Just knowing how deeply connected she is to my feelings – she is an extension of me, she is the heart outside of my body,” Lindsay choked. “I know she doesn’t understand what’s going on, but she understands that there’s joy and sadness and she’s been through it. She sympathized with me.”
The dancer said that she and her husband, Samuel Cusick, are definitely continuing to try for their second child. “We’re so excited to create another sibling for Sage!” she said, adding that her daughter has proven what a great big sister she will be to her baby cousins. “She was amazing, like, not jealous at all. She loves the children very much, she is very excited to see them. She’s very nurturing, so I can’t wait to have another sibling for her. We definitely want more kids, that’s always in our plans. “
Lindsay spoke with HL to chat about the new ChiccoDUO bottles – the first glass-lined plastic baby bottles. “There are so many options out there, and to be honest, it’s hard to know which way you have to go with the bottles, which was definitely a big choice for us.” she explained. “Sage loves the ChiccoDUO bottle. I don’t have to worry about her dropping it and it breaking, and that’s amazing.”
