Son of Lima after defeating Saratoga Oaks | Sarah Andrews

Eclipse’s Purebred Partners, Joseph Graffeo, Erik Nikolaus Del Toro and Troy Johnson’s Child Lima (Commissioner) was named the Horse of the Year 2021 by the Texas Mixed Dog Association in Texas. She was also named Texas-Bred Filly Three-Year Champion for 2021 after a season that included wins in GIII Saratoga Oaks Invitational S., GIII Wonder Again S. and GIII Herecomesthebride S. Raised by Lisa Kuhlmann, Black Bay also added wins in Ginger Brew S. and Honey Ryder S. and runner-up efforts in the GI Belmont Oaks Invitational S. and GIII Sweetest Chant S. The Dam of the Lima Con, Second City ( Consolidated), was named Texas Broodmare of the Year and Kuhlmann was Breeder of the Year.
