The hot fall campaign coincides with Lil’ Kim taking on the role of the new face of Mackage, the movie she’s a longtime fan of. “I had a real relationship with Mackage. I love their incredible skin and puffiness. When the team contacted me to collaborate on launching their first monogram, it felt right.” Hard core backing vocalist said in a statement. “They know and understand the history of my style and most of the iconic looks and campaigns are built around that.”

On her Instagram, Kim regularly posts ‘branded suits – including a stunning camel coat last December. She styled her winter prep with a Celine logo crop top, gray jeans, and boots. Kim showed off her look as she got out of an SUV, holding a Celine bag. She completed the outfit with a blue “B” diamond necklace, a reference to her nickname, “Queen Bee” that she famously rapped on “Not Tonight (Ladies Night Remix) )”.

In the release, Kim also revealed why she wanted to do the campaign and what she loves most about the brands’ style. “I like to do things that people don’t expect,” Kim continued. “It was natural to match their clothes with my tailored clothes because they understand that streetwear and fashion combine, and that’s how I’ve always built with looks. They design for women’s curves and they’re not afraid of drama. Mackage is for strong women…but that doesn’t mean we don’t want to feel protected,” she also said.
