Lightning strikes and kills 14 people in Palabek refugee camp
A lightning strike at a refugee camp in Uganda has killed 14 people, police said.
They said the victims were attending a church service on Saturday night when they were struck by lightning. 34 other people were injured.
An official told a local radio station that all of the dead were children.
The incident occurred in the Palabek Refugee Settlement in the northwest of the country. This area has recently had heavy rain with thunder and lightning.
