There’s nothing to shout about future technology like transparent OLED screen and medium LG Display disclosure its latest concepts and prototypes for CES 2022, The Verge reported. All concepts are created by LG Display (an independent sister company of LG Electronics) from 55-inch 1080p OLED panels with 40% transparency using 8th generation manufacturing processes of the firm.
The most visually appealing model is the OLED Shelf built from two 55-inch transparent OLED screens mounted one side on top of the other and on top of a shelf. The idea is that you can display the artwork on one screen and describe the work below, for example. It also has a translucent sheet of material that rolls down like a shade to make the display look like a standard, non-transparent OLED display. At the same time, if the screen is off and the opaque material is rolled up, you may see objects behind the screen like real paintings.

Transparent screen is just a concept and prototype, but it speaks for itself The Verge that it can help customers develop them into products and production-ready OLED Shelves.
