Toya Luckett Lee enjoying the happiness of newlyweds with her husband, Taleo Coles. On Thursday (August 1), Perfume shared an inside look at the couple’s lavish ceremony in Houston, Texas. Now, the singer share wedding vows brought their family and friends to tears in the stands!

As previously reported, LeToya and Taleo shared a friend for 20 years. Then, in 2022, they began testing the waters of their potential relationship with conversations. Knowing that he wanted LeToya to be his forever woman, Taleo packed up and moved to Texas from North Carolina. Before walking down the aisle, LeToya told Essence that her children, Gianna and Tysun, consider their relationship and them “true love.”
In her wedding vows, she spoke passionately and emotionally about their “true love,” saying it was “like rest.” She also seemed to speak directly to God, thanking Him for keeping His “promise,” restoring her, and bringing a man like Taleo to her doorstep.
“Thank God for intentionally creating a caring and supportive man who leads with care and patience,” LeToya said through sobs.
Meanwhile, the bride’s future groom gently wiped away tears from the bride’s face during the vows. “I stand here in gratitude, surrendering and giving you full authority over our marriage.”
“I found someone whose soul I love deeply,” she said.
As previously reported, the event space was decorated with hundreds of white and cream flowers, including her mixed-flower wedding bouquet. They said “I do” in front of 200 guests at Teesrae in Houston—a venue her now-husband found.
Meagan Good’s ex-husband, Pastor Devon Franklin, officiated the ceremony, and the crowd included a star-studded line-up, from Tina Knowles and Toya Wright-Rushing to Tammy Franklin and Bun B. LeToya’s two children were also in attendance at the celebration of love. A heartwarming photo shared by PEOPLE shows LeToya’s daughter hugging her stepfather.
