Lenovo Tab Extreme details leaked, will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC

The Lenovo Tab Extreme appears to be an upcoming new tablet that has appeared on the Google Play Console listing page, according to a report. According to leaked images, the tablet appears to have a remarkably large display with thin bezels and a front-facing camera along the length of the tablet (when held horizontally). The listing is said to mention a few details about the tablet, one of which includes a SoC that is said to be the MediaTek MT8798Z (also known as the Dimensity 9000 SoC).

The listing also suggests 8GB RAM, but we’ll probably get more variants with higher RAM (and storage). Lenovo is yet to officially talk about this tablet, but the fact that it has appeared on the Play Console listing could hint at an imminent launch.

In the list of Google Play Console is report by XDA-Developers, the Lenovo Tab Extreme is shown with model number TB570FU. The listing also suggests a few basic specifications of the tablet such as the presence of 8GB RAM and Android 13.

There is no mention of screen size, but it does mention a resolution of 3000×1876 pixels. Lenovo’s most recent review Tab 12 Professional (Review) has a 12.6-inch screen with a resolution of 2560×1600 pixels, most likely the Tab Extreme can have a larger screen and can compete with Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra (Review).

Unfortunately, there’s only a single leaked image of the Lenovo Tab Extreme right now, so it’s still unclear what the rear design will look like or how many cameras it will have. The image suggests three buttons in the top left corner, presumably the power and volume buttons. The MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC that is supposed to power the tablet is a capable chip, and we’ve seen it in action in phones like VIVO X80 (Review).
