Leaked Samsung Galaxy S23 renders show an unappealing color choice
We have heard from many sources before that SamsungGalaxy S23 series can come in just four shadesbut we haven’t seen what all those colors really look like – but now we might.
Leakage SnoopyTech (opens in a new tab) shared renders of the Samsung Galaxy S23 and Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra in all four rumored colors – namely Cotton Flower (cream), Misty Lilac, Botanic Green and Phantom Black.
If this leak — and others — is true and those two phones come in those colors, then perhaps the Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus is too, although that phone isn’t pictured here.
Of course, we would disdain these renderings, but the source does. claim to have ‘confirmed’ (opens in a new tab) that these images are correct. In addition, some of these colors have been shown in other images, and the design of the phone is also completely in line with other leaks.
That said, the standard Samsung Galaxy S23 looks set to feature a new camera design, with a magnetic metal housing SamsungGalaxy S22 removed so that the lenses sit individually. That’s the main visual change we’ve come to expect.
Analysis: a boring choice, but there is reason to doubt it
While this isn’t the first time we’ve heard these colors mentioned for the Samsung Galaxy S23 series, there’s a chance that this leak is false or incomplete.
Samsung typically offers a slightly different color selection for its Ultra models than it does with other phones, so the identical choices here seem odd.
In addition, the company sometimes offers exclusive shades on its website that may not be included here and is known to also roll out additional colors at a later date. So there may still be other options.
We certainly hope so, because the Samsung Galaxy S22 series has more color options, not only more options, but more interesting options, such as Bora Purple and burgundy.
All the colors shown here seem a bit dull, the shades are muted, and while the green model is arguably a bit more interesting, there’s also a green option coming in. last, so it’s nothing new. Hopefully there will be more nuance then, because that will help these handsets stand out from the crowd best android phone.
