Lava is gearing up to launch a new smartphone in India. The domestic smartphone company on Wednesday teased the arrival of the handset through a social media post without disclosing its moniker. The upcoming device is being speculated to be the Lava Blaze Pro. It could succeed the Lava Blaze that was officially launched in India in July. Leaked renders of the Lava Blaze Pro suggest multiple color options and a triple 50-megapixel rear camera. It can be powered by a 5,000mAh battery.
Via a teaser post on Twitter, Lava announced the launch of the new “Pro” smartphone in the country. The tweet carries the tagline ‘Coming soon’. The poster image shows the phone with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. While the company has yet to confirm the moniker, it’s largely been speculated that the Lava Blaze Pro could soon have its case broken.
Separately, one report by GSMArena has leaked alleged renders of Lava Blaze Pro. As mentioned, the leaked renders show the handset in four different color options and showcase the rear design of the device. The renders show a trio of 50-megapixel rear cameras arranged in the upper left corner of the phone. Lava Blaze Pro is said to support 6x zoom. According to the report, it will have a 6.5-inch HD+ display with a hole-punch cutout. It is expected to carry a 5,000mAh battery.
Lava Blaze Pro is supposed to succeed Lava Blaze that debut in July in India at the price of Rs. 8,699 for the single 3GB RAM + 64GB storage model. It is offered in Glass Black, Glass Blue, Glass Green and Glass Red color options.
It has a 6.51 inch HD + IPS display with a punch-hole design. The phone is powered by the MediaTek Helio A22 SoC, along with 3GB of RAM. The triple rear cameras led by a 13-megapixel sensor, an 8-megapixel selfie camera, a 5,000mAh battery, and 64GB of internal storage are the other key specifications of the Lava Blaze. It has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and supports face unlock for authentication.
