Launched Tecno Megabook S1 laptop with 15.6-inch screen, 12th Gen Intel Core i7 CPU: All details
The Tecno Megabook S1 laptop was launched by the company on Wednesday. The company revealed details of its flagship laptop at a global launch event alongside the Tecno Phantom X2 smartphone series. Megabook S1 is Tecno’s second product in the field of notebook computers; The Shenzhen-based manufacturer launched the Megabook T1 in September. The laptop comes with 12th Gen Intel processors, 16 GB RAM and up to 1 TB SSD storage. The thin and light laptop weighs 1.35 kg with a magnesium alloy body.
like Megabook T1, the newly announced Megabook S1 has a 15.6-inch screen. The former was launched with Champagne Gold, Monet Violet, Rome Mint and Space Gray color options, but Skill has yet to reveal color variants for the Megabook S1.
Tecno Megabook S1 price, availability
The newly launched Tecno Megabook S1 is valuation at $1,500 (about Rs 1,23,000) for the 512GB option and $1,600 (about Rs 1,31,000) for the 1TB storage variant. Both of these configurations come with 16GB of RAM. Tecno has not revealed when the Megabook S1 will go on sale.
The company has also not released details on the price or availability of the laptop for the Indian market.
Specifications and features of Tecno Megabook S1
Tecno Megabook S1 runs on 11 . window superior and features a 15.6-inch display, with 3.2K resolution and 16:10 wide aspect ratio. The screen has a maximum brightness of 450 nit, brighter than its predecessor, the maximum brightness of the Tecno Megabook T1 is 350 nit. The display panel of the Megabook S1 also has a high refresh rate of 120Hz and 100% coverage of the sRGB color gamut.
In terms of performance, Tecno Megabook S1 improves on the 10th generation of Megabook T1 smart processor, packing a 12th Gen Intel Core i7 CPU. Both 512GB and 1TB SSD storage variants are equipped with 16GB of RAM. Tecno’s new laptop also packs a 70Wh battery and comes with a 65W fast charger in the box. The Megabook S1 is also equipped with six speakers, an “anti-peep” AI camera, and supports Near Field Communication (NFC). The laptop is also thinner than the Megabook T1 — it’s 13.5mm thick and weighs 1.35kg.
