Latest ‘Marvel Snap’ Update Brings Some ‘Quantumania’ – TouchArcade

While Marvel Snap (Free of charge) is a really great card game, it’s also a Marvel game. That means if we have a new movie coming to theaters, we can guess what kind of event will happen next. And that’s with the latest Part in magic snapshot, titled Into the quantum realm. Obviously a binding of types with Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, will hit theaters next week, but how does that translate to games? Let’s see details.

Important news as usual is the introduction of a new card. This time, we have MODOK, Mindful Creatures designed solely for killing. He is a 5-Cost 8-Strength card with a Revealing Enable ability that removes your entire hand. Pair him up with other cards that have elimination related abilities like Morbius and… oh my god. As usual, the only way to get MODOK right now is to buy the Season Pass for $9.99, which includes ol’s Big Head itself along with additional variations, titles, avatar icons, etc.

However, MODOK is not the only new card. As with the previous Parts, there are some additional cards to join the group for those with a little luck. They’re releasing once a week this month, with the Zabu prize card of the previous Season being the first one. Next week sees the launch of Ghost, a 1-Cost 2-Power card with a Continuous ability that always reveals your card last. Two weeks from now stature will be added. She is a 5 Price 7 Strength card whose Price is reduced to 1 if your opponent has discarded a card from their hand during the game. The last week of the month saw Kang’s own addition, a 5-Cost 0-Strength card that has the ability to Turn on reveal that lets you see what your opponent has done, then get started turn again without Kang. These are all Series 5 cards, and the possibilities they offer are fascinating.

There are also four new locations that you will have to deal with. Enjoy? Depends on your point of view, I suppose. Hurry up to be the first to fill the Sacred Timeline and you’ll be rewarded with a copy of your open hand. Play a card on the Quantum Tunnel and it will be swapped with another card in your deck. Camp Lehigh will add a random 3 Price card to each player’s hand and all cards played in the Quantum Realm will see their Base Strength set to 2.

Another substantial batch of content for Marvel Snap, in other words. Lots of potentially game-changing new elements need to be captured, which should help keep things interesting. I didn’t even mention the new variants being added. Hell cows poisoned? Taco Hulk? Yes, please. Either way, I’m going to Quantum Realm to see if I can somehow earn some of these cool new cards. My superpower is purely luck, you see.
