Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato price in India, performance, exterior, interior



Lamborghini will start delivering the Huracan Sterrato in India in the third quarter of 2023.

lamborghini India has launched off-road-ready Huracan Sterrato at Rs 4.61 crore (old gallery, India). The Italian supercar maker announced that deliveries in India will begin in the third quarter of 2023.

Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato: the upgrades

Launched globally last month, the limited edition Huracan Sterrato features a number of upgrades that make it ready for off-road operations. Lamborghini has increased the front and rear ground clearance by 30mm and 34mm, respectively, and the ground clearance has been raised to 44mm to allow for more suspension movement. In addition, it has aluminum front underbody guards, reinforced door sills as well as roof-mounted air intakes to let the engine breathe better on dusty tracks.

The Huracan Sterrato also comes with an upgraded dynamics package or LDVI (Lamborghini Integrated Vehicle Dynamics) which brings a new Rally mode to the supercar and features recalibrated Strada and Sport modes.

The off-road-ready supercar also gets new 19-inch alloy wheels – smaller than standard. Huracan – use custom Bridgestone Dueler AT002 tires. Multi-purpose tires are sized 235/40-R19 at the front and 285/40-R19 at the rear, come with run-flat technology.

While still using the same 5.2-litre, naturally aspirated, V10 engine from the standard Huracan, this engine has been tweaked slightly and produces 610 hp and 310 lb-ft of torque. 560 Nm. The Sterrato reduces power and torque by 30 hp and 40 Nm compared to the regular Huracan.

The engine is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission that sends power to all four wheels through an electronically controlled 4-wheel drive system and a mechanical rear self-locking differential. Lamborghini claims the Sterrato can hit 0-100kph in 3.4 seconds and has a top speed of 260kph. The 0-100kph time is half a second slower than the Huracan AWD, while its top speed is reduced by 60kph.

In addition to a clear visual indication of raised vehicle height, the Huracan Sterrato features a reinforced stone guardrail along with a pair of LED light bars. In terms of form, it has thick side panels, roof rails as well as solid bolted fenders, while at the rear it has a revised diffuser with better exit angle.

The satin-finished khaki paint is new to the Huracan range, contrasting with red accents on the bumpers and red brake calipers. Inside, the Huracan Sterrato does not have many upgrades in appearance, however, it is covered with new Alcantara Verde leather along with new graphics for the touch screen. It also has special terrain features such as a digital inclinometer with pitch and roll indicator, compass, geocoordinate indicator and steering angle indicator. It also has a connected telemetry system that allows the driver to monitor performance and analyze data through a mobile app.

The Huracan Sterrato is in a very small part of the supercar segment. Globally, it competes with Porsche 911 Da NangHowever, it won’t go to India because there is no allocation for it.
