A model who died after taking an overdose of a drug allegedly given to her by a Hollywood producer and her architect friend given to her by a Hollywood producer are buried with with a wedding dress she’s never worn, her parents revealed.
In an emotional interview with The New York Post, Dusty and Leslie Giles said they made the decision about a month after their daughter, Christy Giles, 24, was found dead outside of an illness hospital in California in November 2021.
Parents said Christy intended to wear the dress at a wedding ceremony for family and friends after she and fiance Jan Cilliers skipped the Burning Man 2019 festival.
“I asked Jan if I could do it please so we could bury her in her wedding dress,” her mother Dusty said in tears, according to The Post, “It wouldn’t be on her.” but I don’t want anyone else to wear it. It’s hers and unfortunately she never got to have her wedding.’
She was buried in Alabama, where her parents lived, the same state in which the wedding was planned.

Christy’s parents also recounted how her body had begun to decompose by the time she was buried, and that her once perfect face had begun to droop to one side.
Dusty said she asked the paparazzi to tilt her daughter’s face so they could open the wake.
The scene was so horrifying that her father Leslie decided not to look at his daughter.
“I couldn’t look at her… I couldn’t see her at all,” he said. Grief-stricken as he recounted the memory, he later had to leave the interview, according to The Post.
“He decided not to see her because it was too much,” Dusty said of her husband. “She’s daddy’s daughter. This is all still too much. How are we coping? I’m breaking down, we’re trying to carry an unbearable burden.’

Giles was found on the sidewalk at Southern California Hospital in Culver City on November 13, 2021. She died a short time later from an overdose of fentanyl, cocaine and other drugs.
Hours later, her friend, Hilda Marcela Cabrales-Arzola, 26, was left behind at Kaiser West Los Angeles. She remained in a coma until her death on November 24 from organ failure and intoxication from cocaine, MDMA and possibly other drugs.
Their deaths are considered drug-induced homicides.
Surveillance video shows their bodies being thrown by three masked men driving an unlicensed Toyota Prius, and a month later Hollywood producer David Pearce, 39, was arrested on suspicion of poisoning close.
Also arrested was his roommate, actor Brandt Osborn, 42. Both men now face murder charges.
Pearce also faces unrelated rape and sexual assault charges from seven women, some of whom allege they were drugged while with him.
In addition to the murder charge in connection with Christy’s death, he faces two more counts of selling or offering to sell the women a controlled substance that led to their drug murders. . If convicted on all counts, Pearce could face up to 120 years in prison.

Pearce was photographed partying with Cabralez-Arzola hours before her death. The young architect also had a good time with Giles in haunting photographs depicting the final hours before they were tragically killed.
The Times reported that he and the women met at a warehouse party in LA that night, where Cabrales texted Giles around 4 a.m. to ask if she wanted cocaine, according to the Times. a search affidavit from Det. Jonathan Vander Lee.
“I’m in the kitchen,” Cabrales replied to Giles, “Let’s make a line.”

About twenty minutes later, Giles texted her friend: ‘Let’s go,’ along with a round-eyed emoji.
“Yes,” Cabrales replied. ‘I’ll call an Uber. 10 more minutes. ‘

According to video footage, a vehicle, believed to be an Uber, arrived at the apartment and was then seen leaving after waiting for five minutes.
Vander Lee writes: “It is an obvious fact that both Giles and Cabrales wanted to leave Pearce’s place. ‘Next time they’re seen, they’re dead.’
The cameras then captured Pearce carrying Giles’ body to his Prius and driving to the hospital, where she was left on the sidewalk, Vander Lee wrote. The same is done with Cabrales.
Vander Lee recalled in his affidavit that detectives spoke to Osborn ‘apparently worried’, who said he did not see Giles or Cabrales taking any drugs.
“I don’t give them anything, OK, I don’t live like that,” Osborn said. He said ‘they’re making noise, but I think give them a few hours and they’ll come out of it, but they seem to be getting worse and worse.’
Osborn said he panicked because he had never been in this situation before.
“We don’t know them,” he added, adding that he didn’t take them to the same hospital because “we don’t know what that would be like.”
