KSI unhappy with some of the choices he’s recently made.

YouTube star regrets canceling his agreed-upon match with former UFC champion Tyron Woodley to fight Dillon Danis – it will not happen. About a month after the announcement of the match, Danis withdrew.

Misfits Boxing’s Mams Taylor, a member of KSI’s management team, said Danis withdrew from the match because he didn’t prepare properly.

KSI, who faced FaZe Temperrr on January 14, was shocked when Danis pulled out of the fight.

“I’ve heard whispers, especially on Twitter, and a few comments here and there, like, ‘He’s not going to show up. He won’t show up. He won’t show up. He won’t fight. He won’t fight,'” KSI said in an interview with “Time MMA” in Monday. “But I just said, ‘No, man, especially with the money he’s about to get.’ I was like, ‘There’s no way he’s backing out, especially with all that he’s said. … There’s no way he could come with this much smoke and pull it out.’ And then he did.

KSI said he “100 percent” regrets not having booked Woodley. At first he thought that the fight against Danis would be bigger.

“I will fight (Tyron) Woodley and Danis will fight Logan Paul,” KSI said. “And then, yes, Logan Paul got hurt. The budget for DAZN was getting shorter and shorter, and then we were like, ‘Oh, okay.’

“Tyron Woodley had a bit of a back and forth with rehydration and weight provisions, so we were like, ‘Well, we have Danis here, he’s free and hungry and told us he was. He wants to fight.’ He said to our manager, ‘I want to fight. I want to fight.’ So I was like, ‘OK, bet.’ Dillon Danis wants it. He craves it, and he will be entertained.

“I know between Danis and Tyron Woodley I would get more entertainment from Danis because he is so stupid and weird. He turned his eyes towards it and turned it into a monumental sight. Also, to attract the MMA community to watch it. It’s a smart game. And I know I’ll take him down anyway.

When asked if KSI would consider revisiting the match in the future, KSI said there was no chance and would never work with Danis again.

“No, it’s done,” KSI said. “Damn him. Fuck Dillon. I hope people forget about him, and he disappears from being relevant.”
