Kroger keeps ringing in the register
There can be something reassuring about a trip to a well-stocked supermarket.
Obviously both investors and customers notice Kroger refuge in the midst of inflation. Shares of the supermarket company, which owns chains like Dillons and King Soopers, are up about 12% so far this year compared with a decline of about 15% for the S&P 500.
