There’s no place like home for Dorothy, and nothing like stepping into an original Evil dress for Kristin Chenoweth! The 54-year-old singer and actress, who rose to fame after her debut as Glinda on the hit Broadway show Evil in 2003, she obtained one of her original dresses from the show and tried on it in a hilarious TikTok video she shared on July 27. In the video, Kristin walks up to the dress. wrapped in glasses and paid homage to the performance by trying to put on the dress by casting spells on it.
“Shadow Cloak!” she utters several times, as she does on the show when she tries – and fails – to convert Elphaba’s enemies into enemies (originally due to Idina Menzel) boring black camisole into a gorgeous gown. While Glinda couldn’t work wonders during the show, Kristin wore the evening gown after a few more tries. “Finally it worked! I have magic! ‘ she said with a big smile on her face as she donned her baby blue dress and bizarre tiara.

Kristin was automatically praised by fans and people who watched her on the original show. “There is nothing you do that is not gold,” commented one supporter. “This just makes up my entire WEEK,” added another.
