Konami’s Uploaded Streaming Restrictions for Silent Hill 2 Remake
Konami has updated its website to include Limit streaming and posting give Silent Hill 2 redo. Although the instructions are written like some kind of legal document or contract, they are quite easy to understand.
First, regardless of whether you violate any rules, you must still comply with Konami if Konami asks you to remove your video. People can post videos to Discord, Facebook, NicoNico, Mirrative, TikTok, YouTube, etc. However, these videos must not infringe on the writing rights of third parties, and Konami requests that people not be enthusiastic about editing. This is so the viewer can understand the story. Additionally, uploaders may not insult or defame specific individuals or groups.
Outside of the monetization system on streaming sites like YouTube, people should not post videos for commercial or promotional purposes. Konami also prohibits content that offends public order and morality or includes illegal information in videos. You also cannot post your own videos using mods or mislead others into thinking you are sponsored by Konami or similar. In general, the limitations on Silent Hill 2 do it again standard instructions which other companies like Atlus use to stream games or post content.
Silent Hill 2 (2024) will go out on October 8, 2024 for PS5 and Windows PC.
