Black Kodak is one of the rising American rappers in the world. Not only is he a great artist, but he is also known as one of the greatest rappers out there. He has released many music that is loved by the whole world and has millions of fans around the world.
However, he was recently arrested at a traffic stop in Florida. The reason for his arrest was possession of a controlled substance without any prescription and trafficking of oxycodone.
He was initially pulled over because the mirror of his purple Dodge Durango SUV was darker than what was allowed by law. His driver’s license and the car’s laws were both expired. Officers said they could smell marijuana coming from the vehicle. During the search of the car, they found a small transparent plastic bag containing 31 pounds. Allegedly, these are oxycodone tablets. They are commonly used for pain relief however they can be highly addictive.
They also found nearly $75,000 in cash in the car. Black’s attorney Bradford Cohen claimed that he negotiated a $75,000 bail and that Kodak was meant to be released from prison afterward. The situation became tense.
On Twitter, his attorney said, “There are always additional facts and circumstances that lead to a defense, especially in this case. We’re helping him get in a relationship today and proceed to solve the problem quickly”
Kodak Black was also arrested in January on trespassing charges. However, prosecutors decided not to proceed with the case. In January 2021, he was sentenced to four years in prison for falsifying documents to buy weapons. This is a seriously bad act on his part. He only served two of those four years.
Fans were shocked to hear of his recent arrest. Many of his fans are defending him, however many consider him to be becoming a danger to society. A decision for what happens has yet to be made but fans hope it will be a good one for him.
