KL Rahul suffers hand injury ahead of 2nd Bangladesh Test; doesn’t look serious, says batting coach Vikram Rathour | Cricket News

NEW DELHI: Team India dealt a blow after reserve captain KL Rahul injured his hand in previous practice Second and final test with Bangladesh start Dhaka on Thursday.
However, the away team is quite hopeful to open the scoring.
India, who won the Opening Test in Chittagong with 188 runs and are trying to win 2-0, competed without the usual captain Rohit Sharma who missed the series with an injured thumb.
“It doesn’t (looks serious),” Indian batting coach Vikram Rathour told reporters during a press conference on Wednesday.
“He seems fine. Hopefully he’ll be fine. The doctors are looking into that, but hopefully he’ll be fine.”
Rahul’s injury could mean a Test debut for the opening match Abhimanyu Easwaran who was added to the team following Rohit’s injury.
