Blue Jasmine is clarifying privacy issues regarding her and Kirk Frostmy eight year old son, Guanyin. She shared a statement on social media about Kannon being accidentally locked out of their apartment while she was sleeping.

Here’s what Jasmine says happened during the lockdown
Additionally, The Shade Room obtained exclusive footage of Kirk Frost speaking with a police officer after he was called to pick up Kannon. Kirk’s rep says he will not be addressing the incident at this time.
Jasmine Bleu, on the other hand, detailed what happened and took responsibility for the situation. Her statement was posted on Instagram Stories for several hours before being deleted on Saturday (August 24). The mother began by confirming the “events” that occurred on Wednesday (August 21).
Additionally, Jasmine credits Kirk Frost with playing a “vital role in [her] raising a son.” She later explained that Kirk had babysat Kannon that day while she was filming a scene. After she returned home, Jasmine claimed Kirk dropped Kannon off, and she went to bed “right after.”
“That night, my ex-husband called to say that he had accidentally left Kannon’s school bag in her car and asked if Kannon could come to the lobby to retrieve it. When Kannon stepped outside, he locked the front door behind him, using the building’s alarm system, which automatically locked the door. Unfortunately, he had left his phone inside the house, which meant he couldn’t unlock the door when he returned. I was asleep at the time and had no idea what was going on.”
Jasmine said Kannon had repeatedly told “people around him” that his mother was in the house but was allegedly not believed. She added that the people her son spoke to had “assumptions” about her whereabouts based on social media posts from earlier in the day.
“Although the building maintenance staff and officers had access to my apartment, no one thought to let him in to wake me up. Instead, they contacted Kirk, who eventually picked up Kannon,” Jasmine emphasized.
Jasmine called the situation “unfortunate” and said she takes “full responsibility”
“Nothing like this has ever happened before, should never happen again, and will never happen again. I hope this clears up any misunderstandings and provides context as to what happened.”

It’s unclear who contacted 911 and how Kirk Frost’s contact information about him and Jasmine’s son was obtained. As noted, he declined to comment. Both he and his wife, Rasheeda, have remained silent on social media.
The clip of Kirk speaking to a police officer shows him briefly explaining the status of their custody negotiations. In a longer clip reviewed by TSR, Kannon is seen near her father in the lobby. The version below has been shortened out of consideration for Kannon’s age and privacy.
Jasmine shared additional posts to her Instagram Stories on Saturday, as did Kirk. But none of them related to the incident with Kannon. It is unclear when or if the eight-year-old will be reunited with her mother after Wednesday’s incident.
