If your childhood game was defined more by Kirby than Mario, don’t worry – Nintendo has you covered. As VGC reportNintendo is doing Kirby 64: Crystal Shards available via the Switch Online Expansion Pack on May 20. The Nintendo 64 title is the first Kirby 3D game, although it’s actually more of a “2.5D” platformer – you’re required to reassemble a blend Pears are broken by copying and combining enemy powers.
The Switch experience is really what you’ll remember playing circa 2000, complete with low-polygon 3D visuals. However, as you might have guessed, multiplayer mini-games are now available online outside of home.
This is the 15th N64 game included in the Convertible Online Expansion Pack, which costs $50 per year or $80 for families. While Kirby 64 may not be immediately appealing to veteran gamers like Super Mario 64 or Ocarina of Timeit’s still a remarkable addition that can be great for introducing kids to the games of your youth.
