The Los Angeles Kings beat the Pittsburgh Penguins 6-2 at home on Thursday night, but the biggest event of the game had nothing to do with the final score.
Each Dan O’Leary and Dan Greenspan of the NHL site, Aisha Visram made history on Thursday working behind the Kings bench to win. In the process, she became the first woman to serve behind the club bench in any capacity for a tournament competition, according to the Association of Professional Hockey Coaches.
