A man has admitted to killing a mother and three children whose bodies were found in a home in Derbyshire.
Damien Bendall pleaded guilty to the manslaughter of 11-year-old Lacey Bennett, 13-year-old brother John Paul Bennett, their mother Terri Harris, 35, and 11-year-old Lacey’s friend Connie Gent.
During an appearance at Derby Crown Court, Bendall stepped in while he denied killing all four victims.
The 32-year-old will face trial on November 24 on murder charges and has been remanded in custody until then.
The trial is expected to last three weeks.
Four people were found dead at a home in Chandos Crescent, Killamarsh, near Sheffield, on September 19, 2021.
Bendall, of Chandos Crescent, is alleged to have murdered each of his victims one day between September 17 and 20.
He also pleaded not guilty to allegations he raped Lacey last September.
Other details of the hearing could not be reported for legal reasons.
