The finalists in the children and youth categories were selected earlier this week, and online voters will decide who will win the dubious title of head-to-head champion. mullet before the poll ends on Friday.
According to the organizers, the contest has grown from a local competition in Michigan in 2020 to a lavish national competition with a flashy and questionable taste. This year’s entrants are backing the entire range of infamous haircuts from patriotic vibes, featuring a shortened American flag, to a more classy Mozart-esque ponytail.
Contestants pay $10 to join and CBS report that “all donations will go to the Michigan Wig Foundation for Children.” Each winner in first place will receive a whopping $2,500 prize.
