Chile! When it comes to being a companion or die, Keyshia Cole has always been there to nail everyone! However, an incident that ended her and Eve’s friendship causes her to reflect on her actions. On a recent episode of TV One ‘Uncensored’, the Oakland singer explained how her bad behavior took her so long.
“When I came straight from Oakland [California], it’s still in me. The disrespect, the things that happen, the way we handle it from the ‘hood. It’s like, we’re just fighting. It took me a long time to learn not to touch people; you know what I’m talking about,” she said. She detailed how she slapped a woman who snatched Eve’s wallet at the club.
“Something happened to Eve. We were going out, and someone grabbed her bag or something like that, and I turned around and slapped the girl,” Keyshia said. “It was like, girl, what are you doing? Support.” As the clip continues, Keyshia explains how the slap angered Ruff Ryders’ first lady. Keyshia said, “Eve was really pissed about it like we stopped hanging out together. “I can’t play with Keyshia like she can’t slap people,” she said. Although the “Love” singer was confused about how mad Eve was, she shared the lesson she learned.
“It also taught me a lot later on because I am who I am today. She could also be sued. I’m part of her crew, I should just leave it to security.
