Keyshawn Davis tells Haney that “Shakur About Too Whoop Your A**”

Via Sam Volz: Keyshawn Davis wants to know why Devin Haney is so angry about him being happy that Shakur Stevenson is about to “hit his ***” when he moves up to 135.

Davis felt that Haney’s reaction when he was excited about Shakur coming to him was a sign that he “fear.”

Undisputed lightweight champion Haney (28-0.15 KOs) couldn’t help but realize how happy Keyshawn (6-0.5 KOs) was after Stevenson called him out.

Haney wondered why 23-year-old Keyshawn didn’t say it himself because he was the same age and fighting in the same weight class as him.

Apparently, Keyshawn lacks the experience to share the ring with Haney, so he’s wise to keep quiet for now instead of calling him out like Stevenson is doing.

“Why did I suddenly mention Shakur vs Devin Haney, suddenly we’re ramping up?” Keyshawn Davis told Fighthype. “Think of the bigger picture.

“Why is it that Devin Haney and I are all of a sudden saying I’m happy because it’s a hell of a fight? First of all, who wouldn’t want to watch that fight? Devin, why are you so angry I’m so glad Shakur is about to hit your child**?

“Devin, I really don’t know you. So why are you mad at me because you’re happy about my brother? I feel like him [Haney] know Shakur is a threat. So when I actually started putting them in a mix and started blowing it up, he doesn’t like that. It scared him.

“So you started getting to know me. Someone you might think you can beat because I’m only 6-0, but you still don’t mention Shakur’s nameeven with all the debate going on, but all the while, it was the one who called you out.

“So who is really worried about whom, Mr. Haney and Bill? Who is really worried about whom? Think about the bigger picture now. They talk about new boys coming to play.

“Since when am I a new guy around Shakur? I was never a new guy around Shakur. Shakur came to see me. When you first turned pro, Shakur talked to you, and I sat next to him while you talked and begged Shakur about your case.

“Shakur is sitting there smiling at you, looking at me. So who is the newcomer? I am in the background. I did not say anything. From now on you want to call me him and all this. Now another level.

“All done. It’s definitely him and Tank,” Keyshawn said when asked if Haney is the best boxer at 135. “I feel very skillful in terms of talent, I feel like Tank is the best right now if you want to come true.

“I feel like Tank has every skill, every ability. I feel like it’s really Tank, real, real,” Davis said.
