Kevin Spacey pleads not guilty to sexual assault charges | Ents & Arts News



Kevin Spacey has pleaded not guilty to sexual assault at Southwark Crown Court in south London.

Appears via video link under his full name – Kevin Spacey Fowler – twice Oscar winner wore a pink tie, light blue shirt and black blazer during Friday’s hearing.

The 63-year-old has spoken out to officially release his plea on charges related to a new complainant.

The offenses alleged to have occurred between 2001 and 2005, include three counts of indecent assault, three counts of sexual assault and one count of causing a person to engage in sexual activity without agreement.

They bring the total number of charges the actor faces to 12.

In July, Spacey appeared at the Old Bailey and denied five charges involving three men now in their 30s and 40s. The alleged offenses are believed to have occurred in London and Gloucestershire since from 2005 to 2013.

Spacey has been released on unconditional bail and will face a four-week trial on all charges starting June 6.

A pre-trial review will take place on April 5.

Spacey is best known for starring in American Beauty, The Usual Suspects and House of Cards.

He was artistic director at the Old Vic from 2004 to 2015.
