Kentucky Downs is looking for a full-time turf manager and field custodian to take care of year-round maintenance of the racetrack’s 1/5/16-mile turf as well as oversee the care of the barn area and facilities. the outdoor area of the facility.
The hire will work closely with consultant Butch Lehr, considered one of the best track supervisors in the world, and Kentucky Downs Vice President of Racing Ted Nicholson. The Kentucky Downs 2023 meeting takes place on August 31 and September 2, 3, 7, 9, 10 and 13.
