Kelsey Riley joins Cornett


Kelsey Riley will join the award-winning Lexington-based marketing agency Cornett as Senior Accounts CEO. Riley will lead the marketing team for Lane’s End Farm.

Riley joins Cornett after 10 years with Purebred Daily Newsincludes seven years as an International Editor, a role that includes managing the editorial content of TDN Europe and go to sales and races around the globe. Riley graduated from Darley Flying Start (now Godolphin Flying Start) and holds a degree in media studies and journalism from the University of Guelph-Humber in Toronto, Canada.

Riley succeeds Sam Harte, who, after six years with Cornett and Lane’s End, is moving back to his native Ireland to be closer to his family and explore other career opportunities. Harte, who is also a Godolphin Flying Start graduate, will oversee the transition at Cornett through mid-April.

“We at Lane’s End are sorry to see Sam gone,” said Bill Farish of Lane’s End. “For the past six years, Sam has led all areas of our marketing efforts. He and the brilliant team at Cornett have excelled at coming up with innovative ways of communicating with our clients and the industry at large. We wish Sam the best in the future and there is little doubt that he will succeed in whatever he pursues. Kelsey is a very exciting addition to the Cornett team. She is very popular with us and we are looking forward to working with her.”
