The end of the Kelsey Owens’ journey on Siesta Key: Moving Miami aired on the December 22 episode. Kelsey bought a new house with her boyfriend, maximum, in the episode, and realized she was ready to move on from the show. With the rest of the cast moving to Miami for the latest season, Kelsey knew her life was taking a different turn, and she burst into tears as she shared her decision with everyone. Madison Hausburg on a night out at the club.
“I was thinking more and more,” admitted Kelsea. “I love this group so much, but with all the big decisions [Max and I] did, I was like…what else? I decided, I think I’m done with the show. I’m more damn scared, but I know it’s time. Madison praised Kelsey for coming to the decision and knew it was the right time to move on to the next chapter in her life.
“It’s amazing and I’ve grown from it, but…” Kelsey said, pausing. She then continued: “I’m so excited to be sharing a house with my boyfriend, hopefully soon fiance will get married. I’m ready to move forward from all of this, really. I’m ready.” Kelsey wiped away tears as she announced the good news. “I’m ready,” she confirmed. it’s time.” There’s also a clip of some of Kelsey’s most memorable moments on the show that plays in the middle of her final scene.
Back in August, Kelsey announced about Instagram that her time on the show is over. However, she doesn’t seem to have left in good condition. “Last night, I was going into a shoot at a freak everywhere strip club and was told that I was going to be cut. The key to nap absolutely no warning,” Kelsey wrote. “It is amazing and truly disgusting that after being on a show since I was 19 years old, where I have shared things about my personal life that I am not always comfortable with, revolves around life. My and so much effort into could end in such a disrespectful and abrupt manner. It’s not even simple, ‘thank you for sharing the last 5 years of your life with us.’ I cried my eyes out and then wiped those tears away and filmed my last scene as best I could with my head held high.”

Juliette left Kelsey a supportive comment on her Instagram post about leaving the show, but explained that her on/off friend isn’t as blindfolded as she seems. “This is a job,” Juliette explains. “We signed up and signed on for certain episodes. She signed up for certain episodes and she completed that cycle. She already knew what she was getting into.
However, Juliette admits that things aren’t handled exactly as fairly. “The way it was delivered to her..I don’t think she was prepared to leave [that night],” added Juliette. “But that is not shocking news. She knows what she signed up for, but the way it was delivered to her is not correct.”
