On Friday (October 21), the singer shared a verified Instagram video of her two strangers seemingly unaware (or disinterested) in the disrespectful tone to the touch. someone’s hair, especially a black person’s hair without their blue glow.
According to multiple reports, Kelis was spending time in Singapore when unidentified strangers were located behind her. The entertainer appears to be sitting with another person in a restaurant-like atmosphere – due to the angle and voice behind the recorded interaction.
How does Kelis react to strangers playing in her crown
The video begins as two casually dressed women begin to study Kelis’ coppery twists. Wearing jeans and a floral print red crop top, singer shared displeasure with the person capturing the moment.
Meanwhile, the two women converse in an Asian language as they sheepishly examine the many twists of the waist-long look. At one point, the woman in the yellow shirt stepped back slightly when she realized she was being filmed.
But her friend continued to hold and examine Kelis’ hair after the singer turned to face her – even muttering “wow” at the pattern.
Kelis responded to the woman’s steady gesture by reaching up and grabbing a portion of her straight, black hair. But the woman remained unquestioning. Instead, she responded by grabbing her hair, sharing a few words in her own language, and giving Kelis a thumbs up.
Then both women continued their invasion of space and Kelis’s hair. They said to each other, nodded, and continued to run their hands along the length of the helix. Kelis and her company shared breathless laughs amid the woman’s forgettable actions.

Near the end of the video, the videographer encouraged Kelis “Just embrace it.”
“Oh, I love being touched,” Kelis replied sarcastically. “Great.”
The cameraman continued to laugh. And Kelis seems to have tried to direct the women’s attention elsewhere, but the video is cut just before viewers can see the final result. It’s unclear how long the interaction lasted or if Kelis eventually lost patience with the exhibit-like treatment. However, the tone of Kelis’s caption sounds casual as an insult is often not taken lightly.
“I don’t even know what to say here. Happy Freedom Friday fam,” she wrote.
As of Monday, Kelis has not shared further comment on the invasive female curiosity.
