hollywood life say EXCLUSIVE to Alarm co-creation John Eisendrath about that jaw twist. Jason and Nikki both work for the Philadelphia Police Department’s Missing Persons Unit, and John reveals how they will be affected by the questions surrounding Keith.
“I think one of the things that I love is that experts in this field, like professionals in many other fields, can be completely blind when their emotions get in the way,” says John. “There are a lot of stories in this particular area where parents are so desperate for someone to return as their child that they ignore everything and rationalize every aspect that might not be true.”
Black list The EP continued, “In this case, we have their daughter Sydney, a character who has been clear from the start about feeling like this isn’t her brother. Parents are dealing with that reality and trying to process why in the world their other child is so adamant, and we’ll take the audience through all kinds of stories and swaps. different taste will, for a while, take us deeper into his rabbit hole or not. I think in a story like this, there are various twists and turns when you think you know the answer, but then the answer isn’t what you think it is. The final moments of the episode show Keith tearing up the pages regarding his disappearance from his diary. John points out that audiences deserve “realistic answers every step of the way, so we’re going to tell very specific stories. We’re going to be doing all of the imagination testing, questioning, and investigation, and I’m pretty confident we’ve got some very surprising answers to all the different endeavors that will be made. in an attempt to confirm whether he has or not. is, in fact, their son.
After Keith goes missing, Nikki and Jason’s marriage falls apart. Nikki became engaged to one of her co-workers, Mike, during the series premiere. The co-creator has revealed how Nikki and Jason’s relationship will change when Keith (supposedly) returns.
“Now that the child they believe has been brought back to them, they will inevitably wonder sooner or later if their return will heal their family, what will be their relationship? It’s the kind of event where I think the audience can support people,” said John hollywood life. “They will support me hoping Nikki and Jason because they don’t get a divorce because one of them cheated on the other. They don’t divorce because they treat each other badly. They divorced for a very sympathetic reason, and now I think people can support them.”
He continued, “But wait, Mike is a sweet guy. I hope that some viewers will not support Jason but support Mike. I feel it’s very rare that you can have a love triangle where you can support everyone.”
Throughout the season, as audiences question whether Keith is really Keith, the question of whether Nikki and Jason will get back together will also arise. “I think we’re definitely going to tell stories that put Nikki and Jason in very emotional situations, make them think about their days together and as a happy couple,” he said.
From the beginning, Nikki and Jason’s daughter, Sidney, were hesitant about Keith. John teases about how the former couple will resolve their daughter’s doubts about her brother.
“They won’t agree on whether or not and how to deal with Sidney’s insistence that Keith is not her brother. How much will the story tie them together, but it’s a tough one for them. It’s broad and emotional and they don’t always agree.
