KBL: Rhenz Abando shines on both ends in Anyang KGC win
MANILA, Philippines—Rhenz Abando outperformed Ethan Alvano and led Anyang KGC past Wonju DB Promy, 80-78, in the Korean Basketball League at Wonju Arena on Friday.
Abando showed his worth at both ends of the floor with 20 points and six blocks as Anyang made it 9-3.
The 6-foot-2 player also won three rebounds and made two 3-pointers.
Oh Se Keun also scored 20 points along with six bounces for Anyang.
Ethan Alvano, on the other hand, showed his all-round play once again with 12 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for Wonju, which fell 6-5.
At Jeonju Gymnasium, Justin Gutang was slowly getting his minutes up against Changwon LG Sakers, who overcame Jeonju KCC Egis, 63-62.
Former Outstanding Player of the University of St. Benilde played four minutes and scored three points.
Yoon Won-Sang leads Changwon (6-6) to win with 21 points.
