KBL: Rhenz Abando returns as streaking Anyang beats Dave Ildefonso, Suwon

MANILA, Philippines—Rhenz Abando returns as Anyang KGC defeats Suwon KT Sonicboom, 87-84, in the Korean Basketball League on Monday at KT Sonicboom Arena.
Abando, who has been sidelined since entering the All-Star festival, played for less than five minutes and failed to score a goal.
Despite his limited play, Anyang continued his winning streak, extending his streak to five games.
Omari Spellman scored 40 points as Anyang lifted the league lead to 28-11.
Dave Ildefonso also had a not very smooth start against Suwon with only 1 point and 3 rebounds in limited minutes.
Yang Hong-Seok and Jarrod Jones scored 24 and 23 for Suwon, sending them down with a score of 17-22.
On Sunday, Ulsan Hyundai Mobis Phoebus beat Wonju DB Promy, 80-71, after a hot hit from RJ Abarrientos.
Abarrientos scored 23 points, sinking 7 balls 3 points.
Gauge Prim helped Ulsan score a brace with 19 points and 14 rebounds as Mobis Phoebus climbed 23-15.
Ethan Alvano has 14 points, one rebound and one steal for Wonju (16-22).
Jeonju KCC Egis defeated Changwon LG Sakers, 87-64, at Jeonju Gymnasium.
Justin Gutang contributed three points, six goals, five cents and two steals in 16 minutes of play for Changwon (24-14).
Ricardo Ratcliffe helped Jeonju win with a monster double-double with 32 points and 13 rebounds.
