Skin and hair care brand Kaya Ltd reported a net loss of Rs 18 billion ($2.2 million) for the quarter ended December 2022, compared with a net loss of Rs 8 billion reported in the same period a year before.
The company’s revenue for the quarter rose 10% to Rs 100 crore, compared with Rs 91 crore reported for the corresponding period of the previous financial year.
“Amid a strong recovery in consumer sentiment, our India business recorded double-digit growth in the third quarter of this financial year compared to last year. Kaya Ltd said in a statement that our Middle East business recorded 7% growth in constant currency this quarter compared to last year.
“Following the successful launch of Lucknow and Surat, kaya has decided to accelerate its growth by opening several new clinics over the next 12 months,” it added.
Kaya clinics and products are designed to provide solutions for hair removal, acne and skin aging, among other problems.
The brand retails a wide range of products on its dedicated website as well as with multi-brand retailers including nykaa, AmazonFlipkart, Myntra among many others. It currently has 72 clinics in India and the Middle East.
