Kate Middleton’s photo marks the Royal Family’s first important event

“We love you, Dad. Happy Father’s Day,” the photo’s caption reads. It is signed “G, C & L”, the first initials of William and Kate’s three children. (Although Mother’s Day has different dates in the UK and US, the countries share Father’s Day.)

George, Charlotte and Louis weren’t the only royal children who took to social media today to honor their father. William also wrote a brief tribute, a retrospective photo of himself as a child playing football with a child King Charles III. “Happy Father’s Day, Dad.”, the post read and like his children, he signed it with a single initial, “W.”
